Hottest club in the Bay Area!
Salsa Class with Jake and Techi at 8pm-9pm is free with paid admission to club.

Cocomo has the largest dance floor of any San Francisco nightclub currently hosting Salsa.
Check it out!  Large airy room.  Full Bar. More improvements on the way too...
A lot of the old Kimball's Carnival crowd are now regulars and the atmosphere is great.

Alberto's Studio & Nightclub  - 736 W. Dana St. Mountain View  650-968-3007 Tues/Thur/Fri
Alberto's is one of the Bay Area's oldest Salsa clubs and it is located in the colorful
downtown Mountain View area with plenty of parking.  Classes are emphasized
at Alberto's (they have classes 4 nights per week)  The decor is great and the club attracts
a wide variety of dancers.  Weeknights have been their strongest salsa nights...

Elegant club that has the right mix for Tuesdays in the city.  $8 admission includes a free drink ticket (2/2000).
Dance Lessons by Ricardo and Sarah at 8pm ($5).
New Dance floor, Nice sound system, Good Sushi Bar.  A production of Diana (Cafe Cocomo promotor).
D.J.s rotate weekley with appearances by many Bay Area spinners. Live music most nights.

Caribbean Gardens - 1306 Bayshore Ave. Burlingame 650-347-9007  Sundays
One of the Sunday night traditions in the Bay Area.  D.J. Tony-O and lessons now by
Sylvia Rodriguez provide a great finish to the weekend.  This place is small but it has energy.
Get ther early to get your dancing in.    More experienced dancers on Sunday.

Very popular on Fridays - many dancers and live music.

Mayan Temple - 1038 S. Hill Street. Los Angeles 213-746-4674  Fridays / Saturdays
Huge deco club built in an old theatre houses 2,000 people and they have a
great floor and sound system. Expect some techno music during the evening along
with hot Salsa and many dancers.  Bay area legend Alex Da Silva fans can catch him
teaching there on Sat. nights.  1/99: Alex is scheduled to teach at Rocapulco in San Francisco
every other Wednesday starting 1/20.  Call: 415-648-6611 for information...
