DIRECTIONS TO CLASS/CLUB LOCATIONS

Directions to Cafe Cocomo:  650 Indiana St., San Francisco, CA
From South Bay: Take 101 North to 280 split and take north this to Downtown/6th Street. Exit Mariposa.Go Right (towards SF Bay) on Mariposa to Indiana, and turn right.  Go down 1 block to Cafe Cocomo.
From East Bay: Take Bay Bridge west and exit 5th Street (Left lane).   Go straight at end of ramp
and veer a little left onto Harrison Street.  Take Harrison Street to 6th street and then turn Left.
After 2 stop lights This will lead directly onto the ramp for Highway 280 South. Stay in right lane on 280.Take 280 for about one-half mile and exit Mariposa.  Stay right, ramp curves around 180 degrees and then street goes downhill to hit Mariposa St.  Take a Right onto Mariposaat stop sign.  Cross under 280 and turn right on the first street which is Indiana St.  Go down 1 block to Cafe Cocomo.
From San Francisco:
Cocomo is in the Potrero district.  You can take Army East to 3rd Street and turn left to Mariposa.
Turn Left and go two blocks to Indiana. Turn Left again and Cafe Cocomo is in the middle of the block. From downtown area you can take 10th street to Potrero and up Potrero Hill.  Turn left at 17th street. Turn right at DeHaro (Metronome Ballroom) and go 1 block to Mariposa. Turn Left and go under Highway 280 to Indiana Street. Turn Right and Cafe Cocomo is in the middle of that block.
PARKING FOR CAFE COCOMO:  Ample free street parking!

Directions to thE Beat (Studio J): 2560 Ninth St, Berkeley, CA
From San Francisco:
From San Francisco, take the Bay Bridge and stay to left after bridge to get onto Highway 80 East towards Berkeley.
The first exit after the split is Powell Street, and the second is Ashby Ave.   Exit at  ASHBY AVE.
It only heads East. Take a left at the first stop light, which is 7TH STREET. Go about 1/2 mile north to
PARKER STREET and take a Right. Go 2 blocks to 9TH STREET and take a left. thE Beat (Studio J) is in the center of that block at 2560 9TH Street. Look for an awning and small sign in the window. Please call in with the phone provided at the front door only if door is locked to get in.  PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME.
From South Bay:
Take 101 North to Bay Bridge and follow directions above from San Francisco.  OR if you are
coming up 880, then after downtown Oakland, take the new connector to Highway 80 East towards Berkeley. After the Bay Bridge maze, you will be on Highway 80.  Exit ASHBY AVE. and follow remaining
directions above.
From North Bay/Marin:
Take Richmond Bridge or Highway 80 West. You can simply follow the directions above exiting
at Ashby Ave., or alternately, get off one exit earlier at UNIVERSITY, and head East towards
the hills and the University of Calif.  Turn right onto SAN PABLO Ave (2nd light) and take
San Pablo about 1/2 mile south to PARKER ST. (Bank of America on corner) Turn Right onto
Parker, go two blocks to NINTH ST. and turn right onto Ninth Street. thE Beat (Studio J) is in the center of that block at 2560 9TH Street.   PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME.
From East Bay City streets:
Take your favorite route to San Pablo Avenue.   PARKER St. is between University to the north
and Asby Ave to the south.  At Parker Street, (Bank of America on the corner) turn West.
(Right if you coming from North, Left if you are coming from South).  Go two blocks to NINTH ST.
Turn right onto Ninth St.  thE Beat (Studio J) is in the center of that block at 2560 9TH Street.
PARKING FOR thE Beat (Studio J):  There is ample free parking on Ninth Street and Parker Street.
